Spinach Patra
Enjoy this dish without really getting your hands dirty - if you know what I mean!!!
the recipe is as follows:
Chick Pea Flour, Wheat or Juwar flour, and any other flour usually Rice flour, but you can use Corn flour Or Dhokra flour too. Add more of Chick Pea flour to this.
Add some plain yoghurt, oil, salt, green chillies, ginger, garlic, dhana jeeru, turmeric and ajmo.
Mix all of this together using warm water to make into a thick pasty mix. Wash and drain the baby spinach and add this to the mix.
Spread out into oiled plates and steam for 30 mins.
Once they’ve cooled down cut the into shape and size you like.
Tempering:
For tempering take little oil in a deep Pan and prepare mustard seeds, curry leaf and asafoetida and lightly roast on the Patras. Toast them in the pan to add a crispy edge to them and Serve hot...
