How long can your melon carvings last?

Melon carvings can often look good for about a week. They look best the first day. When stored properly they can still look pretty darn good.

If you can carve it on the day of the event, that would be best, but the day before should be fine, too. You definitely don't want to carve it three or four days beforehand,

Fruit carving today

Professional fruit carvers can also create centerpieces and displays for various events, such as parties and wedding receptions.

On a smaller scale, fruit carvers can present a dish with decorative garnishing to add an aesthetically pleasing experience to their viewers. That is what I am doing. Although I do carving for fun too.
