Beetroot Halwa


Made with beetroot, full cream milk, mixed dry fruits, khoya and ghee. This is a perfect dessert recipe for all the healthy eaters and can also work for a quick detox.


1 kilograms grated beetroot.150 gm ghee, 150 gm khoya, 50 gm mixed dry fruits, 500 ml full cream milk,150 gm sugar,2 powdered green cardamom


To prepare this healthy dessert recipe wash beetroot under running water and drain its water completely with the help of a strainer. Then peel and grate the beetroot and keep it aside.


Now, heat a heavy bottomed pan and add grated beetroot along with milk to it. Cook for about 20 minutes over a low flame and keep stirring. Once the beetroot is cooked and absorbed milk, add desi ghee and cook again for 10 minutes.


Add the sugar and cardamom powder, mix by a quick stir.


Now, add grated khoya at to this mixture and cook again for about 10 minutes.


Remove from flame, garnish with mixed dry fruits and serve hot!
