Kulfi are famous Indian frozen dessert which is one of the popular street food which is similar to ice cream but much denser as it is made with rich rabadi but trust me the creamy tastes is so divine .


They are also available in different fruits like apple, kiwi, and pineapple too. I haven’t tried in apple but it is in my - to do list next.

For people who have this for the first time might wonder how you filled the mango with kulfi in , to make it more exciting people and slice the mango right while serving the guest the will sure feel amazed on how you made them.Isn’t this a perfect way to surprise our guest.

We totally enjoyed the frozen mango and creamy kulfi combo, you can go as creative as you like add some tutti frutti or strawberries to make it more interesting.

Yes it is a little messy job to remove seed from the mango carefully without breaking them apart but it is worth trying at last it for a smile and compliment you get matters.


Ingredients:


2 Alphonso Mango

4 cup Milk

397g Milk Mawa or Condensed Milk – 1 tin

2-3 Saffron strands

1 tsp Cardamom powder

3-4 Chopped Pistachios

11/2 cup Sugar

Let's make kulfi mixture.

Heat the milk and reduce it until becomes 1/2. Keep stirring them Milk constantly as it might stick to the bottom. Add Mawa mix well than add sugar. Mix them well and boil it till you see strands of malai in them. Turn off the heat when it becomes thick then cool completely.

Now let's prepare Mango.

We need to remove the seed of the mango while keeping the entire shape of the mango intact. Gently squeeze the mango & do not peel the mango. Remove the top of the mango by slicing the head of the mango. Place the mango on a glass or a bowl on which it can stand

Now using a kitchen knife loosened the pulp around the mango seed then pull it out the seed. you can use a tongs to remove the seed.

Now fill the mango shell with the kulfi mixture. Put the mango cap back and freeze it 4-5 hours.

After frozen, peel the mango skin and slice them in circles.

Enjoy the frozen mango filled with mawa kulfi.

Now Garnish with cardamom, saffron and pistachio.


Tips

• You can make this kulfi with apple, kiwi, and pineapple too.
