Medjool dates are a FRESH FRUIT grown in Israel. Medjoul Dates grow to jumbo size while maintaining a wonderful taste and texture.
Medjool dates are rich in vitamins, fibre, minerals, antioxidants and potassium, the Mejoul Date is a natural nutritious sweetener and an instant energy source.
The fiber and nutrients in Medjool dates can help with weight management, but portion control is important. They are high in calories and should be consumed in moderation to avoid unwanted weight gain. Medjool dates are an excellent source of potassium, which is lacking in most people's diets.
You'll find them in the produce section at the grocery store. Medjool dates have a rich, almost caramel-like taste.
Like many delicacies, Medjools are pricey because their cultivation is a complex and labor-intensive process. The Medjool are so delicate that most are picked individually by hand rather than in large clusters.
